Joanne's journey with design and style began in the early 2010s, where she created and curated aesthetic fashion and lifestyle content on platforms like Polyvore, Tumblr, and WeHeartIt. These early experiences ignited her passion for combining style and functionality.

During her undergraduate law degree, Joanne discovered Notion and instantly fell in love with its potential to simplify and enhance study routines. By creating personalised templates, she was able to maximise productivity while staying true to her aesthetic vision. Inspired by this success, she decided to share her tools and ideas with others through Girls Who Notion.
